Metal Seated Trunnion-Mounted Ball Valve

The Virgo Metal Seated Trunnion-Mounted Ball Valve are used in a high temperature and pressure environments for where solid and abrasive medium is handled for improve performance. Both Ball and Seat are hardened or have an overlay of hard surface material. Emerson utilizes High Velocity Oxygen Fuel (HVOF), one of the most advanced coating processes, to extend the life of Virgo valves by significantly increasing erosion and wear resistance. The coated components have an abrasion resistant surface which can be "mate" lapped for a smooth assembly and maximum sealing.

The valve is a robust API 6D, two or three piece body design with bi-directional sealing. Valve are available in sizes from 2 inches up to 60 inches and pressure classes from ANSI 150# to 2500#, the valves can be supplied in a variety of materials, body and trim configurations, and end connections to meet every need.
